ABOUT US

AAPRI Clinical Research is a center dedicated to conducting IRB (Institutional Review Board) approved studies. Many of these studies are sponsored by pharmaceutical companies, which are required to conduct clinical trials on all drugs prior to receiving federal approval. At AAPRI Clinical Research, the majority of our studies are termed Phase III or Phase IV, meaning they have passed animal and human safety studies, and are now undergoing test for efficacy.

Our center began primarily as a center for asthma and allergy studies. We now conduct studies on a wider range of diseases and conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, migraine headaches, and others. Of course, we continue to conduct studies on asthma and allergy medications, and enjoy the extensive resources of our sister practice – Asthma & Allergy Physicians of Rhode Island. Learn more about our current studies, or fill out our volunteer form for participation.
