Welcome to AAPRI Clinical Research. We are a multi-specialty clinical research center with locations in Providence and Lincoln, Rhode Island. We make it possible for people to participate in clinical trials that can help lead to important medical breakthroughs.


FEATURED STUDY


RhinoWhat if there was a medication to treat your cold, not just your cold symptoms?

  • Are you between 18 - 70 years of age?
  • Have you been diagnosed with asthma for at least 2 years?
  • Do your asthma symptoms usually worsen with a cold??

About the study
You may be eligable for a research study of an investigational drug for Human Rhinovirus infection (the cause of most colds) to see if it is safe, tolerable, and effective in reducing the severity and/or length of a cold in adthmatics.
  • Participants will be screened for eligibility prior to experiencing cold symptoms.
  • Eligible participants will be asked to return to the clinic within 24 hours of experiencing cold symptoms.
  • Participants entering the study will receive study medication for 6 days, and have 6 clinic visits over 28 days after the start of a cold.
  • Participants will be reimbursed for their time.

Participants in our studies enjoy close, personal attention, including free physical exams, laboratory assessments, study medications, and are often compensated for time and travel. Most importantly, though, participants have the benefit of gaining a better understanding of their disease or condition.
